‘CRUSH : Colors of Mehndi GROOMWEAR’

ASIAN WEDDING CULTURE & IT’S SIGNIFICANCE

Asian Weddings are arguably the most looked-forward events as they are rich in Traditions, Cultures, Colors and Fashion. Asian Weddings (Pakistani & Indian Weddings) in particular are an amazing combo of Rituals, Ceremonies, Music & other extravagant events. These events & ceremonies have upmost significance as they are also considered as a family get-together and brings everyone closer to their loved ones thus becoming emotionally rich and making these weddings more colorful than ever.

TRADITIONAL GROOM & BRIDAL COUTURE

As mentioned above, Asian Weddings are rich in Fashion & Colors just like Emotions & Traditions. Each Groom & Bridal Outfit is designed with pure dedication because the color-combination, style & boldness is consciously the ‘measuring stick’ of the entire event. In Asian Weddings, we usually see the Bride wearing a Red Lehnga or Saree that depicts the culture & traditions of the region. On the other hand, a Groom is seen in a Sherwani or Waistcoat having the same color-contrast combination of the Bride’s dress.

MEHNDI EVENT : THE BACKBONE OF OUR WEDDING CULTURE

In an Asian Wedding the Mehndi Party or Rasm-E-Henna is considered as the most anxiously awaited & celebrated event as it is full of lights, dance, décor, music, colors, fashion & henna. Mehndi Event is surely the headline of an Asian Wedding and a Fiesta of Love. This event is full of colors with Green, Orange, Yellow and Pink being the favorites amongst all.

COLORS OF MEHNDI AS/IN GROOMWEAR

For years, Mehndi Event has been the standard-bearer of Traditional Groomwear & Bridal Couture. The bride may have her bridesmaids, sisters or family wear a particular color. Women wear Gharara, Sharara, Choli or Blouse in bright colors with flower jewelry and traditional Asian jewelry. The main celebration of a Mehndi event is that bride has the red-orange Henna/Mehndi applied to her palms, back of hands, and feet. Male relatives will often wear Shalwar Kameez with the same colored Shawls as the Groom himself. In a Mehndi Event, the Groom generally wears a Kurta matching Colors of Henna or the Bride’s dress with Shawl being added as an extra spiced-up ingredients for the Traditional look we sign up for. Other considerable options for a Groom could be a Sherwani-Style Kurta with Pant Trouser or Chust Pajama or a Colorful Embroided Kurta with Patiala Shalwar, Lungi or Balochi Shalwar.
